October is the great month for professional cleaning companies and property managers to review cleaning procedures and begin making cleaning and maintenance plans for the coming fall and winter. Building safety is improved for tenants, occupants, staff, and the general public, helping to reduce ownership liability. To help our customers stay clean and green – this fall, we offer the following tips for making this seasonal transition seamlessly. Carpet CleaningMany businesses don’t consider to clean carpets before and during the fall-winter months. This can be a mistake as the carpets can become laden with ground in dirt and impact indoor environmental quality. Be sure to clean your floors and carpets before winter which will help to extend the life of the carpet. Window CleaningWinter is coming, which means it’s time close your windows up and turn your heaters on. When this happens, all the accumulated dust and dirt from the summer season gets locked inside of your home. When pollen and dust are locked inside & accumulated throughout your home, it can make your seasonal allergies worse. Cleaning your windows this fall can prevent the accumulation of dust that has built up over the summer. Install Mats:With all that wet weather coming, customers and employees will be tracking in water and mud into entryways. If things have frozen over, they’ll probably bring in corrosive salt on their shoes, too. Place large, absorbent mats at all main entrances and invest in heavy-duty door mats for unit entrances. Not only will your floors and carpets stay clean, but they’ll keep your everyone from slipping and sliding on uncarpeted floors. Install 15 feet of matting inside each entrance to capture ice melt, salt and sand before it is tracked throughout the facility. This is really helpful. We are approaching summer now, so I bet some tips will not be applicable but there is no strict rule though when it comes to cleaning.

For windows, using the same cleaning products used in tables and surfaces may work. Assuming that it is made of normal glass, it won't do any troubles.

First, remove any surface filth with a cleaning brush to stop it from becoming firmly embedded in the upholstery. When stains do occur, you may attack them with eco-friendly cleaning supplies or DIY solutions, such as using warm water and an egg yolk to remove coffee stains off office furniture.

It got me when you said that it can be a mistake to neglect cleaning the carpets in the winter or fall season, because they can get lots of dirt that can impact your indoor's environmental quality. I can imagine how hiring janitorial cleaning services for your establishment or office can prevent having that kind of issue, especially when you are in your peak season. Because of that, the owners should find a company they can invest in and partner up with them for as long as they can.
